TYNGSBORO — The town’s first ever retail cannabis operation is set to open Friday for curbside pickup.
Nature’s Remedy, a Massachusetts-based marijuana company with a cultivation and production facility in Lakeville, will open on Middlesex Road offering flower, edibles, tinctures, concentrates and more. This is the company’s second dispensary in the state, with the first located in Millbury.

According to General Manager Cory Ravelson, patrons will be able to order their products online and select a 30-minute time window for pick-up. Upon arrival, they’ll be directed to different parts of the parking lot depending on their payment method.
For customers paying with a debit card, employees will bring the products directly to the car and complete the transaction there using a portable card machine, he said. All occupants of the car must be at least 21 years old in order for the sale to take place. Those paying with cash will be asked to park and get out to complete the transaction at a point-of-sale station in the store’s entrance vestibule.
In light of the coronavirus pandemic, all employees working curbside pickup will be equipped with masks and gloves and will sanitize the card machines between each transaction. Customers paying with cash will be required to social distance while standing in line and wear a mask while inside paying for their products.
Ravelson noted that the store is hiring at a time when many are out of work, and said the company is excited to open up and get started.
“It feels amazing. It feels liberating. It’s a big step for our company, but it’s also just another positive step for the industry as a whole in Massachusetts, and it shows the state and the community that things are starting to climb out of this kind of COVID shutdown era, and that new businesses can open,” Ravelson said. “And we’re hoping to thrive and be a positive force in the community.”
Nature’s Remedy is located at 420 Middlesex Road and will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. To view the store’s menu and order online, visit www.naturesremedyma.com/menu/tyngsboroughmenu/.
